
| When should I book the date? It is never too early! Generally, most weddings are reserved a year in advance to the date. Should I make an appointment to come and look at the property? When you make an appointment with our a catering manager, you will be able to discuss any specific questions and details as well as be able to view our rooms, villas, suites, and event spaces. How long do we have the reception space for? There is a possibility for an event to be scheduled in the same function space during another meal period on the same day. However, we will do everything possible to ensure ample time for set up of the space prior to the scheduled event. We will allow for a dinner function to run as long as you wanted without incurring any overage fees. The High Cove room does have a required 12:00 a.m. cut-off time as it is located in the lodge building. We would like to have other catered events such as a rehearsal dinner or wedding brunch at the Ridges Resort & Club. Is that possible? Our food and beverage team can create any event to meet your vision for your wedding occasion. A catering sales manager would be pleased to assist you in creating the theme for your events. Can I have only the ceremony without a reception at the Ridges Resort & Club? We require that the reception be held on property if you have the ceremony with us. You can have only the reception at the property. Is there a discount available for Sunday weddings? We do offer special discounted rates for those looking to have their wedding on a Friday or Sunday. Please contact a catering manager for more information. What is the deposit to reserve my wedding date and what is the pay schedule thereafter? We are willing to hold the date without a deposit for up to three days. After that, a signed agreement will need to be in place along with a 25% deposit of the estimated event cost. 50% is then due one month prior to the event, and the balance is due along with the final head count three days prior to the date. Do you have an on-site wedding planner or should bring our own. Your catering manager will be your on call resource via phone or email throughout the planning of the occasion. They will be the same person on property the day of your big day making sure that everything runs flawlessly. Your catering manager will also be pleased to work with any advisors you choose to bring. Can we bring in our own caterer? The Ridges Resort & Club must provide all food & beverage with the exception of the wedding cake. However, we will be happy to cut and service the wedding cake for you for no additional cost! Am I required to use the vendors from your list? The Ridges Resort & Club has a preferred vendor list available to you. However, you are welcome to use anyone you would like. We do recommend that outside vendors contact your catering manager in order to familiarize themselves with the property and event locations. Our guests will be coming from out of town. What activities will be available to them? We have a full range of services and amenities on property which include boat and jet ski rentals, championship golf, a sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits, tennis, badminton, fitness center, outdoor pool and hot tubs, and a 36 passenger event boat with captain. Your catering sales manager can also assist in coordinating any events nearby such as horseback riding or white water rafting. Is a discounted group rate available for guests staying at the Ridges Resort & Club during my wedding? A discounted group rate is available for your guests. The rate is based on availability and season. Your catering manager will be able to give you the specific rates for all rooms available. |
